WHAT IS
MACCARONI?

I had a pug named Mac, and one day I was giving him nicknames like we all do with our pets. One of them was "macaroni." I was curious, I knew that there are multiple meanings to one word. I did some research and found out that in the 18th century, British scholars used "macaroni" as a slang term for someone who was stylish/fashionable and hip. They would wear huge powdered wigs and dress outlandishly. WHEN they discovered what macaroni was, they hosted pasta parties to share their findings in clothing.

This reminded me of today's streetwear culture.

I named my brand "maccaroni" with an extra "C" to differentiate it from the everyday word and also to match my last name.
